cams and Misfire???

ok i have hks 272/272 and i keep getting a ramdon misfire and i dont know why?? I thought it was my ciols so i upgraded to the slowboy ciol on plug setup but still get misfire and i also have ngk bpr7s and gaped them right not even 1000 miles on the plugs. i wasnt sure if it was the cams that do this or if it could be something eles??

We need more information here.

Did the misfires start after the cams? If so, I would check your timing. It may be off.

Change your plugs and wires. You want NGK BPR6ES or BPR7ES. What is your gap at? I gap mine at .028

ya i have the plugs and i dont have wires anymore i have ciol on plug setup and i gaped my plugs at .30 i run 18-20 psi. and the misfire started i belive before the cams but i seem to pick it up a lot now. i think i may reset my ecu and see if that changes anything

Check your timing to start. Replace your plugs, gap 'em at .028. Log a run or 2 and see if your front o2 sensor is getting flaky.

There are a few suggestions, have at it. My money says one of those things is the cause.
