Hey everyone I have a lowered GST and I know I need a camber kit the tires are becoming bald from the inner to the outer edge of the tire, but anyways I want some opinions on it first. Basically I wanna hear that it doesn't f@!$ anything up. So please help me out here.

It does not mess anything up, it only makes things better. For the rears you can do the longer bolt and washer method to correct the camber, but for the front you will have to buy some type of kit.

Need camber adjustment for the front or rear (or both)? What amount of drop are you running? Most get away with the longer bolt/washer combo in the rear (DSM specific vendors usually carry these for ~$20 in a kit with the correct load rated hardware). For the front, depends on the drop but I prefer ecentric bushings (got mine from RRE). Not a fan of the adjustable ball joints as they tend to limit suspension travel with their design.

Sorry to jump in but I also have similiar question.. I was thinking of dropping it 1, 2" at most... So I'd need front and rear..

Don't drop the car 2", you probably won't be happy with the results. If you just want the car to look good, a 2" drop will work but if you want the car to actually handle, 2" drop is not a good idea as you'll be hitting the bump stops all the time as our cars don't have a tonn of suspension travel to start with. I'd recommend 1.5" drop max if you want the car to handle as well as look good.

With a 1.5" drop, you should be able to get away with the washer/bolts in the rear & just the eccentric bushings in the front (no need to get the adjustable anchors w/eccentric bushings that offer even more camber adjustment), the bushings alone should give you more then enough adjustment in the front.

is there a link or somewhere I can look up directions on installing the bolt for rear, and bushings in front?..

It's already lowered when I bought it so I don't know how much. It looks like 2 to 3 i had my old one 4 inches but I also had 17 inch rims so it was like only 2 inches lowered. I would need it for both front and rear from what I can see on the old tires it was doing it to all tires.

Also as far as an alignment, I will do that first thing this spring when I start driving it.

Is there a way to determine how far a car is dropped? Mine came dropped and there is not a camber kit or anything done to it.

What is stock ride height? I was thinking of calculating stock height - current height.

bringing this back from the dead, i just put on the eibach pro kit with KYB AGX's its a 1.3 drop. will i even need a camber kit for that? i have heard some get away with not even needing one and havent had and uneven wear. if it is recomended to get one, does anyone know a good camber kit that they sell and how many degrees of adjustment it should have to do things right? i have 17 inch stock GSX rims on toyo proxes 4's

i ordered the STM camber kit for the 2g DSM it comes with some long bolts and some washers. does anyone know how many washers are needed to get the camber correct. i have heard 4 washers with the Eibach pro kit. but im unsure.

Camber Kit Install - YouTube this right? looks like it would be has the same suspension as my car..
