Cam suggestions

I am getting real close to start rebuilding my motor. I am shooting for 300-350 hp to the wheels. Heres the issue I want a 272/272 BC cam in here I like the way it sounds and dont want to run stock cams. What would be needed to put one of these in a 1g head, what should be changed to make this work? Im new to the dsm world so any suggestions would help. Thanks.

Drop the cams in and go. Don't need anything else.

Cams are drop in.. Only if you want to rev it above 7500rpm you will need stronger valve springs.

You don't need cams for 300-350 whp. If you don't plan on going any higher on your hp goals I would suggest some 264s, that way you don't have to do any supporting mods to your valve train and you can remain safe.

I'm looking to get similar HP (because of the FWD) and I went with S1 Cams 268°/268°. Will be using 68HTA.

I personally would not run BC cams, you'll be way better off with a quality cam like FP, CompCam, Kelford, etc.

Yup - nothing else needed, unless you are going to rev higher, then you do need to upgrade your springs... and I agree, I like the FP cams better than BC's too.
