on our 420a motors are our cam sensor a hall effect or a vr type sensor.

looking to hook up my new eic from 034 motor sports and i was looking to go through the tach. or cam sensor. the new eic controller has a bunch of new features and i didn't understand what i would use to trigger the rpm but javad set me straight along with Corbin.

Oh, ok. Yeah, in Corbin's original setup he just used the tach signal. Not many fuel management units can interpret our odd cam and crank signals (save for Megasquirt). Good luck with your project.
