Ok.... have a question. My nephew has a 97 Eclipse base model no mods no turbo, I just need to know if anyone can point me to some step by step directions on how to replace his cam seal.... Any help is appreciated!

You basically need to redo the timing belt so may as well change the belt and tensioner while you are there. but first get the belt off than take the cam off and remove the bolt on the cam which in most cases you need to heat the bolt up to free it from the lock tight that is holding that baby in. Use a torch to heat it up and hit it with an impact gun should spin right off. Google search what engine it is and what it is you are trying to do works about 90% of the time. haynes manual or chiltons manual will be your best friend
