cam retard or advance?

say you have an adjustable cam gear on your exhaust cam....would you retard it or advance it to get some more bottom end power? or should it be on the intake?

oh yeah, the cams' aren't stock. they're a high rpm cam which is why i want a little more bottom. anybody?

Advance your intake 3-4 degrees, you might feel a difference in the
low end. Before going any more, consult the makers of the cams,
as they have steeper ramps and more lift and you don't want to
hit the pistons.
