Cam Position Wiring. Replaced And Checked Need Help

Car is throwing P0340 code "camshaft position sensor curcuit bank 1". I have replaced the cam sensor, crank sensor, and checked my timing. I believe it is in the wiring to the cam sensor but not 100% sure. I'm needing help on finding out how to check all the wiring to the sensor or if anybody has any ideas on what else could be causing it to throw the light. I bought this car about six months ago with a broke no.1 rod. Replaced the block and got it all back together now it takes a minute to start but once it does it idles great but the light comes on as soon as it starts. As soon as you put the motor under load like taking off it feels like it is loading up or not getting enough fuel. Any ideas would help alot!

Just because I have been through this process a bunch of times, let's start here. How do you know your timing is correct?

Now with that being said, if your cam sensor is not picking up information, then it will indeed take a while of turning over but it will start. Baiscally what you are being told by the ECU is that your crank sensor and your camshaft sensor are not in sync (for whatever reason).

That brings us to the wires that run near the egr tube. These oftentimes can come into tcontact (or just be too close) and either melt or become brittle. This would also be a good place to look.

I know it is in time because I pulled the top small cover and the crank pulley and made susr my marks were still in line. I did a multimeter test on the power going to the cam sensor and it only read 9.31v. Thanks for the help so far!

Finally! Got into the wiring harness this morning and found two plugs were swapped around! Wouldn't have noticed it if the harness hadn't been laying a little funny. So glad it's fixed! Thanks for the help!
