Cawston,
I'm currently rebuilding the head on my car I'm adding Crower stage 2 Cams, Crower springs and retainers, and fidanza cam gears. Im wondering if anyone on here knows what i should set the timing at to see the best gains with these adjustible cam gears. I live in a remote area and don't have access to dynotuning so your input would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on what you are looking for, as a rule of thunb, retarding gives you more top end power, but a loss on the low end. Advancing gives you more low end with a loss on the top end. Its kind of a give and take, but i'm sure there are gains to be had, depending on how well the centerline of the cams is from where spec is on them.
