:talon: ok, so when is this earth shattering event supposed to be? have we decided or did I miss it on the forum? it won't matter what day, since I still won't have a job by then. :thumbdown And yes, I'm from avilla, do you have to dis the place? it's not like I chose to live here for vacationing purposes. :barf:

you'll grow to love the backroads where there are never cops at though, i used to take old 3 to the for and shave about 10 minutes off the total trip cruising at 90mph the whole way :) eventually you'll learn to hate it as much as i hated kendalville. oh and btw, if you want to learn how to do a balance shaft elimination and a timing belt job on a awd (everyone should learn at some point), shoot me a pm as i'll be doing one on wednesday over in auburn at my dad's garage.

Ok i am about to make another thread about the meet. I plan on setting it up for the 1st weekend in April. Plans are hooters and then go cruise. If anyone else has any suggestions and/or conflicts post them, since we wanna get as many people as possible at the meet.

Be sure you fill us in on the new post when you put one up please. Looking forward to the meet, hoping to actually run into a few hopped up DSM's done right. (I've never even seen a well sorted modified DSM. Hoping I'll at least be driving mine by then..).

Any chance anybody in here is local to Indy? I'm located in Fishers, wouldn't mind meeting more local DSMrs.

i live down in martinsville for now, but i frequent the 71st street casleton area.

First weekend in April = Spring Break for area schools, which counts me out. April 17/18th is warmer.
E.

:talon: I say we do this in the middle of april on a weekend. that should be warm enough, if not then the same thing in May. did somebody start a new thread?

Yeah, i have some friends with DSM's that will most likely be out of town for spring break, but were really looking forward to going. Mid April seems like it would be a lot better for most, and hopefully warmer.
Just my $ .02 :thumb:

:talon: sorry for breaking subject but, MetalliHawk, dude, I love your wheels! :thumb:

There needs to be an IUPUI-DSM club. There have got to be at least 8 GST's and GSX's in the Blackford/Mich. St. parking garage every Tues and Thurs. Maybe I'll bring down my talon this thursday and listen to it resonate.

PS - anyone want to meet earlier than a month and a half away?

I don't go to IUPUI, but I'm in the area often as my friends are students there. I'm usually in the Lockefield Gardens visiting. White 97 GSX w/white 5 spoke wheels. I live around the Butler Univ area. Honk if you see me :) I'm willing to meet earlier.

how about this weekend-its supposed to be almost 70, what about a meet at one of the hooters(31 or castleton) and then a cruise. I know theres 4 or 5 gsx's around indy including mine-this would be the first weekend mine has seen the road so i say soon! im dying to take her out but i want to be around other dsmers

Just wanted to say that it was cool to meet you guys. Hope to see you all around or at the track.

To the fella with the 2G FWD w/18G and SAFC2: I was wondering what type of fuel pump you are running. If you're running a 255 lph pump or larger w/o an adjustable FPR, that may explain your inconsistent fuel trims due to overrun of the stock FPR. Just a thought.

just wanted to say i'm sorry i missed the last meeting, but i will be heading to muncie dragway on the 14th in the early afternoon.

dudes, can I get the html for the fort wayne dsm club too? Didn't know there was one...:talon:

Sunday street drags

Our Sunday events begin on May 30. We will have Jr. Dragsters, High School, Street Drags and Sport Compact. Slicks will be allowed ONLY on street legal cars. Cars must be licensed and insured. NO racecars.

I know all you SC guys drive to the track so there won't be a problem for you guys to run slicks. We just can't have any SP cars that aren't street legal on Sunday because of the different insurance for these events. If there is a SP (or 'true racecar') that wants to test then they will have to pay extra for the different insurance.

Don't forget we are still having the Fri Street drags every Fri night.
