So i have a boosted 420a and I am making the car just a cruising/racing car(and later a track car), and I heard that when bypassing the heater core it might cause overheating. Has anyone had any experience of that happening? I already bypassed it, but was told that might happen. Any 420a'ers ever had that problem or heard of that happening?

Im rebuilding my turbo setup so the car isnt running right now so I cant test it out and see if it will overheat but if someone knows before hand Ill just put the hoses back on, if not I would love to keep it off.

im 4g63'er with a bypassed heater core with no overheating what so ever. i dont think you'll have a problem but would put grade your cooling fan "like i did" just to be safe.

I dont see how bypassing the heater core would create over heating? Its used for heat, no cooling the engine it self.
