For road racing autocross either 16g or 28 would give you the spool characteristics you need. Both will spool reasonably early and hold it until red-line.

cool now is there a difference between the t28 and the big t28? or are they the same? would i need to get a manifold? like a ported evo one? or is anything like a tube manifold over kill?

Go for the bigt28Killer its using the big16 wheel with a larger compressor housing..

Its a bolt up affair with no install kits..
I wish I would have gone this way as its cheaper than the big 16 w/install kit with similar performance. LOL I bought a evo manifold because my factory 2g was cracked. Just port out your 2g it'll do fine plus its a bunch cheaper.

oh i had another question woudl it just be a good idea to get a full out fmic rather than like a 450 buck side mount like those on dejon tool, just wondering i imagine a big fmic will give serious gains

On my car it starts kicking me in the pants at about 33-3400 and a little sooner in the taller gears.
I would get a nice FMIC on an open track you would heatsoak a SMIC quicker. Get a nice thick FM core and you'll be happy.

if you can afford it go fmic

I'd seriously go with the 16g anyday. Mike will give you first class customer service as well. My car is definitely different than your setup, but 1st pass with a 16g I was able to run [email protected] mph. That pass was definitely problem plagued. Looking back, I should have definitely ran the car some more times with the problems fixed to see what it really could have gone on a clean pass. The main message here is that often people give up on the "small" turbos WAY TO SOON, way before they get maxxed out....

Just something to think on,

Richie
