Buying used transmission, anyone heard or dealt with this website?

im going to be buying a used transmission from these guys, i checked them out on BBB, and they are registered, has anyone ever delt with these guys or know about em?

First, in my own experience, dont buy a used DSM tranny, its more than likely to be just as bad if not worse than your current tranny (unless of course your tranny is completely gone), I have never heard of them before, but then again I havent gone looking for a used tranny either, I would just save some $$$ and send your current tranny to www.sheptrans.com, its like $900 I think for a rebuild, and its well worth it, just a thought.

EDIT: Well, since they only give you a startup guarintee, I dont know how that would apply for trannys, I would say dont buy it, just to be safe rather than realll sorry.

i could send my tranny out to shep racing, i have the money, i just figure its better and cheaper to spend 300$ on a tranny with under 35k on it, and it comes with a 30day warranty, if its bad ill ship the crap back, plus if i go through paypal ill just use the insurance , anyways thanx for the throught, i wouldnt send my tranny to shep, no offense but i can just rebuild it myself, if i wanted to and had the few extra dollars laying around ide buy a fresh tranny from shep, ill probably just try this guy, its only 300$

Sounds like you already have it figured out, its your $$, do what you want, $300 and 30 day and you can rebuild it yourself, then screw it, buy it. Good luck with whatever you decide.

well i really just wanna buy the damn thing, instead of rebuilding one, or having mine rebuilt, i wasnt really asking anyone what options i have, just seeing if anyone has used these guys or heard of them being a good resource?, also they want 1500$ for a complete jdm 4g63 with tranny , wire harness ecu, plugs, not to bad
