Buying a 97 talon tsi

Hello dsmtuners, I looking at buying blackwidows97 beautiful 97 talons tsi. I currently drive a 95 gst. I wanting to know if anyone else has seen the talon and your thoughts on the car. I live in Indiana and the car is in North Dakota, I will have to have the car shipped. I've seen his whole build threads and even updated pictures and videos. Blackwidow has been very upfront and excellent to deal with but sadly the car has a rebuilt title. That's my main concern, now she seems go to go but still you never know. If anyone has seen or drove the car could you let me know what you think. Thanks again

As far as the rebuilt title goes I wouldnt give it a second thought. You know how little it takes for an insurance company to total out a 97 dsm? A fender and bumper would probably be enough.
Why dont you run the VIN through carfax and see why it was totalled? That will give you some peace of mind.

I did ran an auto check on it. Came back as reconstruction in 02 in PA. I've read his build thread and the radiator support was removed and replaced I assume that's why it's rebuilt. I don't mind the rebuilt title as far as value wise as thus car is for me to enjoy. My concern is the the driving part as I can't drive for myself. I believe everything is great but still would like to know more.
