hey hows everybody doing. im looking to buy anther 1st gen talon tsi fwd. i need opinions on if it is worth it or not. its a 1992 talon tsi fwd 5spd with 156,000 miles. motor is all stock the only thing that is done to the car is 2.5 inch catback exhaust and gsx rims besides that everything is stock. all belts were changed including timing belt and water pump all new struts, new axles ball joints, rear wheel bearings, full tune up, no rust no major dents paint is a little oxidized but not bad. shifts smooth runs reall strong. the throwout bearing is rattling alot engine oil is leaking from somewhere i couldnt see where it was coming from and the trans fluid is leaking other that that everything is in really good condition the turbo spools up good the kid was running 15 psi out of the turbo with an electronic turbo timer/boost controller. the kid is asking 1800 but will take 1600 please leave me some feedback the kid wants to kow by tomorrow if i want it or not. thanks everyone for helping me out

I wouldn't do it b/c of the leaks, but then again, I don't know how bad they are. Thats just me though. Good luck whichever way you decide.

Hey man I think it woulod be a good buy if you can nail down where the leak is coming from...I have a 92 with 150K and it runs very well with a small oil leak and I have had the car for 3 years with little to no probs...If you have the extra money to do it I would seriously consider it...Good luck
