So I am looking for an AWD turbo 1g. Preferably a 90/91 as they are 6bolt and I like the popup headlights. So far I have found 2, maybe 3, I am going to look at another one tonight, not sure if it is turbo or NA though.
1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5psd. Not sure on the miles but I know its slightly modded. I think the previous owner may have abused it a little as the body has a few dents and paint blemishes. It is red with a single black racing stripe, 17" 3g eclipse wheels, muffler, not sure what else. Price: $2,000
(Pics coming tomorrow)
1990 Eagle Talon TSi AWD 5spd. 134k Miles, adult owned, stock. The dealer guy said the previous owner was an old couple and its in descent condition. Few paint blemishes but in pretty good condition. Price: $3,500
I am leaning towards the 90 just because I know it was adult owned and is stock. Do you guys think $3,500 is too much for this car? KBB says its worth $2,500. I think I am going to give him a lower offer. He said there was a lot of people eyeing the car, but I just think he wants to sell it
So what do you guys think I should do?

I forgot to go get pictures of the red one. But I am going back to the dealer sometime this week. I have a compression tester and just happen to have a 1g logging cable
When I bought my 91 tsi awd i had two problems.. ABS modulator leaked ($1200) and my exhaust manifold studs were cracked ($1400). I payed $3200 and it had 79000 miles. Be sure to check both of these potential problems; you could pay more than what you want to down the road. I forked $1200, $1400, and of coarse $3200 in the first 2 months i owned the car.
Other than that, GREAT CAR, be sure to learn more about DSMs before you buy one
, if i had to pick another dsm i would have gotten an earlier dsm cause i like the look of the flip up light front end during the day a lot more than mine.
