The oil is leaking in the front of the valve cover, which is the valve cover gasket, and as far as i know it is also leaking from the oil pan and the return line. The car was rebuild top up and as i was reading a thread about pvc valves i thought it could be something similar to his problem.

First....are all of the bolts tightened enough on the valve cover, return flange, and the oil pump? Second....how do the gaskets look on all three?

I havent had the time to look at them myself but i was told by an oil change shop i dont entirely trust this place so i wanted to know what all my white smoke could be caused from, when i rev it smoke comes out by the alternator.

Do you see smoke coming from the alternator with the hood down? Or do you have the hood up and are out of the car and see smoke come from the alternator? If there is no smoke coming from the exhaust, then you probably arent burning any oil and have a leak somewhere.

I think its both, its comming out both the exaust and the near the alternator. I checked while having a friend rev the car up. There is plentttyyy of oil in the intercooler piping, thats why i think its the turbo because the oil getting past the rings and going down the exaust, but i also dont know why in the hell it would be comming from the alternator side...??? i'm going to do a compression test and a leak down test today to see whats going on, if my headgasket is leaking.

Iv had the same problem, you've got a leak in your system, most likely the valve cover gasket. I was stumped for a while after I did the valve cover gasket and a new oil cap, when I noticed my valve cover itself was leaking out the side, take your valve cover off and inspect it for any cracks.

Also if you have oil in your intercooler, check your intake pipes, and if you find oil, your turbo is blowing oil, and youll need to redo the seals.

if your oil return line is leaking do what i did a couple of nights ago. the next time you do an oil change take of your oil return line. buy new gaskets for it. get some grey rtv, put a little grey rtv on the gasket, bolt it on, now get a SH!T load of rtv and just smack both ends with it. let it dry for 20 to 30 mins, then put oil in your engine. it shouldn't leak at all.
