Burning oil please help

Okay I have been burning a considerable amount of oil. I let my brother and his friend drive my car to walmart (3 miles each way and I went with them so I know thats only where they went) and I burned 3/4 qt of oil. 2 hours on the highway I burned 1/2 a quart. But other more recent times I have barely burned any oil. If I baby it it doesnt seem to burn any oil but if I romp on it and let boost build up Ill get a big old puff of smoke.
Tests I've done:
1. Compression Test: Dry - 155-156-153-146 (still within the limits)
Wet - 175-170-180-170
2. I checked shaft play going from the intake and there is none what so ever.

So does anyone know what could be the problem?? If you want me to I can go out and check anything on the car.

Iv been burning alot of oil like you but i also noticed i was leacking is yours leaking any oil.
if not its probably just your valves are bad you might need a new head that would probably fix your problem or just get a vavle job done but if i was you i would get a newhead makes the car feel new

Your rings can be bad, turbo seals, both of those could make you burn oil.

Okay so how do I check to see if the turbo seals are bad?

Iv been burning alot of oil like you but i also noticed i was leacking is yours leaking any oil.
if not its probably just your valves are bad you might need a new head that would probably fix your problem or just get a vavle job done but if i was you i would get a newhead makes the car feel new

do you have white smoke coming out the tail pipe because thats when the seals are bad

I'm not 100% but it seemed grey to me, not totally white but not completely black.

it will mormally look a blueish tint and white so yeah that grey color might be it

To check your turbo, pull off your lower intercooler pipe and see if you've got a nice pool of oil in the pipe and in the intercooler.

ok i just put my jdm motor in and it blows lots of white smoke at idle and when i get on it and at 4grand it starts to studer i know i got a boost leak just dont know where it is yet but i will know tomaroow and my torque converter bolts keep comin lose can you guys help my out im new to dsm no check engine lights either

Try using some loctite for the bolts. It's great stuff. Post your results for the leak test and what it is you need help on.

check the coolant make suer
that there is bo oil in it
because sound like blown head gasket

I hope you mean valve seals, valves has nothing to do with burning oil. Also, please use proper grammar, capitalization and punctuation in your future posts.

it turned out to be bent valves. thanks for the help. oh im sry i cant spell or use periods and stuff.
