Just out of curiousity, why does my 95 Talon TSi AWD rear bumper say "AWD", I've never seen that before, I've only seen them say "TSi AWD". There are no visual indications that the bumper has been modified.

What's the build date on your car? And just out of curiosity, does your intake manifold have an "ECI Multi" badge like this one, or is it smooth:

My IM is smooth. I don't know my build date off hand.

The lettering/decals are not molded into the bumper, so it could have been removed.

For the record, it does appear that the "AWD" on your car is not correctly placed, i.e. too close in proximity to the reverse light, compared to this one:

Or this ESi, for that matter:

That is to say I would conclude it has been modified.

My buddy has the same year/color and it is the same way. Turbo Awd is on the side.

My side skirts say 16V DOHC Turbo..interesting..could this be some super rare bumper? Where's my build date located again?

Look at the ID sticker on the driver's door "C" pillar below the door catch unit. Upper right hand corner should read the month and year the vehicle was built (and look to the lower left of the sticker and you'll see a "MDH" of two digits for the month, two digits for the day, and two digits for the hour the car was completed on that Month listed above). An example is of my Laser: June 1989 and my MDH is:060912 - June 9th at noon.

It has been modified, so has the one that says "turbo awd" on it. They only came the one way. I can remove them without damaginf the finish at all, it's pretty easy if you take your time.

p.s Do any of you have those badges in red they would like to sell to me?? pm me if so! thanks

Here's some part numbers I've obtained if you want new ones. I'd imagine a Chrysler/Dodge dealership should be able to get them unless they've been discontinued.

95-96, Red "TSi" : MR718412
95-96, Red "AWD" : MR718421

97-98, Silver "TSi" : MR777708
97-98, Silver "AWD" : MR777709

Silver, according to my sources, is the only color available for the 97-98 model years. I'm not real familiar with 2G Talons at all, so this may not be the case, but this is what I have found.

Awesome, thank you.

I think blue was also available on some 97-98's too, but I got my car with them removed, and I want to switch them to red. i think it would look alot better with red.

Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing blue. No idea why it isn't listed.

The other colors I find for the 95-96 year are as follows: Black, ('95) Blue, ('96) Metallic blue, ('95) Deep Green, ('96) Deep green, Gray, Green/Yellow, Red, Silver, White, and Wild Berry.

That is all besides the point. What I was getting at is simply that the positioning of the decal(s) itself should be consistent, no matter what model it is. :thumb:

Where did you find those part numbers? I may want to get a set of badges for the sides too.

I was Google searching something one day and came upon 95-96 and 97-98 Talon, Sebring, and Avenger Part Manuals. I forget what it was I was searching, but they are in PDF format. I'm heading out to MOD for the weekend so if you can't find them, I'll see if I can relocate them when I get back.

Is there any other way to find my "born on" date? Now I'm really interested.
