Its been a long ass road. Lot of challenges as usual, the good news is the car is finally finished. Had to remove the jeff bush pan and repair a few bad welds but other than that its good to go. In the middle of building the trans I decided to upgrade to 8 1650s. Welding the bracket on the manifold was a little nerve racking but I got it done. Im also in the middle of helping a friend do a swap. Unfortunately we found some cracks in the trans case. Some asshole also jbwelded a stud in the tranny mount. I had to cut it off flush and drill it out for fear of cracking the case. Thankfully everything worked out.

Bolt that trans case to a block when you weld it. I’ve seen the block to trans mating surface warp 1/4” or more welding them not bolted to a block.
Good news in the trans didn't warp when I welded it. I totally forgot to take that precaution.....im usually good about that, guess I figured the mass of the aluminum would reduce heat buildup overall
