built motor advice

Ok so im thinking of buying this 420a motor that has some work on it and dont know what else id need to complete the car with this setup

bored .060 over. Wiseco pistons, eagle rods, 2.4L crankshaft. Brand new oil pump, water pump. All new gaskets. New oil pan with oil bung for turbo. New ARP head bolts.#*Complete Brower head with nitrile coated head components. Valves are titanium and are 1 mm bigger. Head is ported and polished. Has 241 exhaust and intake cams.#*OBX intake manifold, OBX fuel rail with 580CC Precision injectors.#*Has all new sensors, new thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses.#*MSD Blaster Coil with 10.3mm wire set.#*OBX log style exhaust manifold.#*OBX Adjustable Cams#

Whoa, did you say "bored .060 over"? Thats a bit too much for me. Means that block has had it and wont be getting rebuilt ever

Def a " no go" if it were my money. Find a 420a, have it bored .020( might only need a hone??) and have a shop put all the forged internals in.

Thats what I thought too when I read the post and questipned it. But any opinions of yes or no's on it

like boost97gst. that block has had it. if its bored that much over than how many times has it been rebuilt. and what else has been done to it besides being bored. whats the reasons its been bored so much over. how many miles are on that block. all these and more are what I would really question. with forged internals your prob planning on push more power than you would prob want to if it had stock internals. and I wouldn't trust the block to hold up to what your wanting to do.
