First, I've got a 97 gst spyder auto. The car is built from top to bottom with the exeption of the tranny. If I get a high stahl, will I be able to hang with the launch capabilities of a 5 speed? Also, will I be able to do a better 35 mph launch? I was considering a 5 speed swap, but I like the gain I get when running a 5 speed when they shift.
Any input would be appreciated. The bottom line is that I get my ass handed to me by stock civics out of the hole, but when I hit 25mph...well the hondas wander how they went from first to reverse. :D

i hang with the 5 speeds thaks to my hs converter really my launches are better because im more consistant

I'd say get the converter, along with end clutches and a shift kit - essential for autos on a modded DSM.
