I recently lost a rod bearing in my 1990 :talon: Talon TSi AWD, so I am going to put the motor I was going to build for my racecar in it. :D

Here are the specs:

Flat-Top Wiseco pistons
6-Blot Crank
6-Bolt Rods
Freshened head, OEM Spec
Stock 14b Turbo
Stock Fuel System (pump rewired)

What head gasket would you suggest?
What does everyone think?

Rockstar04 :rocks:

i bought my headstuds and headgasket from extremepsi.com they have a package deal where you get arp headstuds and cometic headgasket for 150 i think i dunn recall the exact price

Are those new 1g "big rods"? If they are where did you buy them?

I think a stock hg, will suffice just fine. The arps are ###### more important...

14b-turbo wont push enough air to blow out a stock hg.

my list for recently built motor is a s follows:

EVO III Exhaust Manifold
Magnus Heat Barrier Intake Manifold Gasket
OEM Fuel Filter (it had been sitting for bout 6 years)
Prothane Motor Mount Inserts
OEM Axle Seal Front Driver/passenger Side
OEM Throwout Bearing
Techna-Fit Clutch Line
ARP Head/Main Studs
ACL Race Main/Rod Bearings
Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit
Complete set of gaskets.....

just dont forget the little things.....
