Let me start out by saying hello to everybody, my name is Chris and i own a 92 Eclipse GSX with TSi interior, it was my 1st "fun" car then i owned a few others as the DSM sat under its cover. Recently graduating college i have decided its time to go FAST again :shhh: and have decided im going to make a project of this. Ive began putting together a list of parts to aquire before the build but after deciding on the main things i still need to iron out a few details namely what combination / trim turbo im going to use my goal is to be in the 600/800 hp range. the list below is what ive come up with as of now.

Car Has
HKS 264 Intake / 272 Exhaust Cams
DFAC II
18g clipped / polished
3.5" APEXi Turbo Back Exhaust
VR-4 Trans
ACT 6-Puck non-sprung
Lightweight flywheel

Wish List
2.3L stroker kit
AEM ecu
SBR Intake Manifold
T-4 Tubular Manifold w/external wastegate
FMIC 24x10x3.25

Turbo Wish is T-4 GT45 what trim should i be looking at and will this turbo clear the radiator?

I understand my HP wishes are far fetched but im looking for a turbo that will still be fun to drive and give me the most power can anyone help?

There are probably 20 to 30 better choices as far as turbos are concerned, with you power goals of course. My advice and probably may others will be to use the search option at the top of the page. 99% of your questions have been answered before. Also unless you have alot of money it's best to upgrade slowly and learn at the same time. Try to hit 400whp before you go crazy and shoot for 800whp. :thumb:

well on a second note my current setup is putting down 422awhp i forgot to include that it the o/p i understand im going to be treated like a newb for awhile but REALLY... LOL I understand steps and now im trying to build the Ultimate Street / Strip car as it is now its fact but im looking for crazy

wow, 422whp from the 18g, pretty impressive! For your goals, i would say gt35r/gt37r in a .63 or .82a/r. SBR put down 622whp i believe in a .43a/r gt35r, obviously with one of their badass high compression motors. The bigger housings should free up quite a bit of power up top! I would recommend a sheet metal intake manifold if you dont have one. You may want to go to bigger cams or at least 272 on the intake as well as a good valvetrain to support 8500rpm

but what i do feel what turbo will get you to 600-650whp is not the same as what will get you 800whp. you may have to go full t4 for that high
