Car Not Starting???? HELPPP

Ok.. soo i started noticing that my car had a hard time staying alive couple days ago. But didnt think much of it then, but now my New Timing Belt cover can so i removed that belt and pulleys to put it on. When everything was put back together i turned my car on it fired up but i had to keep on giving it gas in order for it to stay alive. So i let off the gas it died. Now it wont start at all.. so i thought it was a timing issue so i re-timed it and nothing. I timed it about 6 times thinking that something was wrong in my timing. But it still wont start. it just cranks and cranks but nothing... any ideas? hellppp??

well if i were you i would check the crankshaft positon sensor, i have ran into ones that would start about 30 percent of the time. By changing the timing belt your right near there and could have bumped it loose

Not so sure what that is? could you explain where it is?

well after further searching on the 2g it isnt near the timing belt but i still believe it could be your problem, it is located on the back of the engine there are three sensor the first is your CPS(Crankshaft potion Sensor) the second is your knock sensor and the third is oil sending unit so good luck
