So i am heading off to college this coming up tuesday, and will my my broken DSM . But i need honest opinions on the first steps to my first DSM build.

The build would consist of

Fmic short routed
Apex N1 exhaust
MBC
Intake
75% 93 25%e85
Turbular Mani w o2 dump
External wastegate
New injectors
New Walbro pump
DsmLink
Then hopefully 272 Cams

I need tips and tricks for my 2g Spyder. Thank you guys and God Bless!

the biggest thing that stands out to me on your list is the lack of a downpipe and the tubular manifold.... I have ran three of them and had no success they look sound and perform great all for a month till they crack take it from me find yourself a fp manifold

What size turbo? Is your engine SOHC still, or DOHC swapped? How much power are your trying to make?

Sorry guys I have been busy with all of the shopping. But the car is the 4g63 turbo model. I want to do a big 16g swap on the spyder. so this means I'll have to take off the internal Watergate if I'm correct.

Ya what motor?, and what turbo do you plan to run seems to be the only upgrade missing from your list.

I'm looking to make 550 HP by my senior year. Remember I'm only a freshman .

In that case you should probably change your profile to show Spyder GST, not GS w/Turbo. The two are considerably different.

All versions of the 16g have an internal wastegate.

If you wanna make 550 plan on spending a few grand. I am pretty sure you better be adding a clutch to your list.

going to need a bigger turbo then a 16g to get that 550

Don't forget about how you are going to plant your power to the ground.

You dont talk about the lower end if you want to make 550 hp the first thing i would take care of is the block machining pistons, rods crank and bearings also do the balance shaft elimination at this time if the lower end is strong it dosent matter what you add to the engine

Bigger injectors are a must 650s atleast, someway to tune and like Simone said a clutch and I don't think your gonna make 500 on even a big Evo 16... Someone can correct me if I'm wrong
