Broken MBC?

this may be a stupid question , but i just recieved my Hallman Pro boost controller today. i noticed when i move or lightly shake the mbc something sounds like it may be rattling around inside. Is this normal? If so, what/why does it do this? i figured i might as well ask before i install it and problems arise.

That is because there is a ball and a spring inside it that is used to regulate the air flow. Hearing that sound is a very good thing, if you didnt hear anything that would be a problem
