Does this mean it's toast or can it be replaced? If it's done what can I do with it?

Unfortunately nothing THAT exciting. I had mearly a few hours to put my engine from the car onto an engine stand and I hadn't swapped an engine in a few years and the last time it was on a DOMESTIC!Old Mitsu Tech said:I would be curious as to what you were doing when this happened. Wheel hop? Loose bolts?
If you could jig it preciseley, perhaps it could be welded. That would be quite a feat and I assure you it would be a somewhat expensive proposition.
Overall, unless you damaged something else, I would say it could be repaired.
You just have to find someone that wants to tackle all the logistics of this.
Good Luck
I might even have one lying around. I'll get back with you if I do.
That'd be freakin sweet. I need a new project. I'd be VERY interested to know if you had one laying around.megadeth0 said:You can just replace the housing. That part is not too terribly difficult to get off. Putting it back on might be another thing.I might even have one lying around. I'll get back with you if I do.

Other than welding it. Are there any other solutions? Like exchanging the housing? Maybe find a donor with the otherside destroyed? I already threw away the broken pieces and if somethings broke I think welding is cheap.
Thanks

I plan to go through the tranny or maybe send it to shep or tre. Would they beable to replace the housing? I do have an extra tranny i plan on using instead of this one for the time being.

If you want to send it here to be fixed send me an email, turn around times are about 2-3 days.

Also, I have a bunch of good used bell housings and other parts that are listed on the site. I usually take the leftover parts to the scrap yard but I also realize some of you just need some parts to get your car back on the road so I created this page.

Thanks for the space!

Thanks AJ
