broken door? what to do

my driver side door as been hanging for awhile then one day it was really windy and my door flung open and broke it much more. i cant open my door all the way cause it hits the fender? anyone know how to fix this or what should i do?

your door is off track, you're going to have to see how bad the damage is and might need a new door, i cant tell very well from the pictures. first take the fender off and either bend it back how it should be or buy a new one, then check the door. If you have a manual for your car it will be in there how to do basic body work but i would personally bring it to a professional. if you choose to buy a new door then its just a matter of rehanging it. hook it up somewhat tightly and close the door SLOW you will have to try it a few times to get it perfect. hope that helps good luck

First pull the fender off. Open the door and see if anything is bent. If it's really bad you might have to buy some new brackets. There is a bolt between the door that holds the fender, im not sure if your going to be able to reach that one. If you can't i would find a way, because opening that dorr is going to bend the fender up a bit, only use that as a last resort.

I'm gonna be taking it to the shop and see what's all damaged and if they can fix. I'm planning on getting a new door where can I find one cheap? I know dsmgraveyard carry one but it says year 95-96. Do they make carbon fiber doors for eclipse?

yes they do make carbon fiber doors, but for safety reasons most of us don't use them. you shouldn't have to replace the door just the brackets.

They are what hold your door on there, if that's what your asking. If your just looking to buy the brackets, you can go to a dealership, or find a junk yard with an eclipse and just ask for the brackets
