Broken cylinder liner

Hey guys, I recently broke my 4g63.

I disassembled it and the piston was stuck. Removed the piston and found out the connecting rod ripped off the piston bottom.

The big problem is that the rod hit the cylinder liner and opened a big hole in it, but didnt hit the external part of the engine block.

My question is: can the liner be replaced? Or did I lost my engine?

4g63s are not lined from the factory. They can be. Consult your machine shop to see if they can do it.

You will likely need other machine work. Crank etc.
