Well I was trying to remove this piece that bolts up to front of the block and snap:ohdamn:... Im not quite sure what to do here cause I tried using a bolt extractor but I ended up breaking that too. I tried heating it up with a little propane tank I have and using PB blaster to see if it would loosen up but so far its still stuck in there. Anyone have any good ideas on how to remove this?

Getting a better bolt extractor would be the safest bet.

The alternative is to somehow make a cut into it to fit a screw driver. Or depending on how big the opening on the inside is, make it so a 1/4" drive will fit in and you can rotate it out that way.

I would soak it some more with the pb and heat the living piss out of it and soak it some more. Lube, heat till the threads are bubbling pb out then use an easyout with a socket. If your using vise grips or channel locks you can put a side load on the easy out and end up snapping it. A socket on a T handle will help alot.

Thanks for the ideas guys I apreciate it:)

I have the engine on a stand, im gonna let it soak with PB blaster for a while to see if that helps. I was thinking of drilling it a bit so the metal is thiner and maybe I can use the extractor again... well a new extractor cause I broke that one I got at autozone.

Oh and does anyone know where I can find that piece that bolts to the block as well as the water pipe that goes there? didnt have any luck find it:(

this is what i've been seaching for but couldnt find it, if someone knows the part number of where I can whats in the pic please let me know;)

I had the same problem. What I did was put a small spot weld on the end of the bolt, lined a nut up with that and then shot another spot of weld through the nut. I used vice grips for the nut and then once it cooled off it back out easily. Had it out in under 5 minutes.

Not everyone has a welder but that would definitly work. If you don't have one a quick trip to a machine shop to have them do it would be pretty cheap. Before I got my welder the local machine shop only charged me 10 to 20 bucks for little crap like that. Well worth it if your breaking easy outs, burning up your propane and using half a can of lube. Adds up quick. +1 Dewayne

Yea unfortunetly I dont have a welder... I would take it to the machine shop but I really dont feel like carrying the whole engine out my basementLOL. I think if I invest in a set of better extractors it may just do the trick:idontknow:.

Fitting in block - MD314114
Banjo bolt - MD314117
Crush washer - MF660065
Hard water line - MD306413
Soft water line - MD306415
Clamp - MS660243

So why were you trying to remove that bolt?

I wanted to take it to this parts store and see if I could try to make my own little water line since I didnt have any luck finding one. Unfortunetly stupid things happen, If I would of left it in there everything would be fine. But thanks to turbosax2 I now know what I need. I know I should of asked on here what the part number for the water line was but I guess things happen for a reason:ohdamn:

Yes! finally got this thing out:D... after trying so many time and spraying it with PB blaster it finally came out. The theads on the block are fine, no damage to them at all. She was really in there but boy it makes me happy its out. Thank you all for the ideas:thumb:
