So I'm driving my car tonight for the first time in 7 months. I'm just cruising at 50 and all of a sudden something locks up. I thought one of my wheel bearings locked up. Well my dad comes and we jack it up. Just to check, he spins the back left tire (where the noise is coming from). The tire spins fine but the axle doesnt spin at all! Something snapped in between the axle and the wheel. What could it be?

After looking at my Haynes manual, something caused the connection between the hub and the axle to snap. Guess I'm ripping it apart tomorrow. :thumbdown
