Brembo install on a 2g

Now I have searched and found out most of the information I need to do this. I already have the brembos and rotors off of an Evo VIII. I've searched and read that you need JDM Galant Knuckles for the fronts. My question is, why couldn't you just use the Evo VIII knuckles along with the rotors and brakes?

You can't just expect to bolt on parts from a different car. They are... different. Completely.

Ok thanks. Just asking. Which brings me to my next question. Once I get these brembos put on, what offset would I need for aftermarket rims? I'm looking at getting some 18x8's. I think there is an option of 35mm and 48mm. Do you know if either will fit?

18s are big and should clear. It depends on spoke design etc. The 35mm backspaced ones should definitely fit both the brakes and your car better than the 48mm. Also, you can probably fit most 17 inch wheels over the calipers with a 35mm backspace.
