brand new 20g on my friends 2g wont spool help?!?

this post is for my friend, he has a 2g talon with a 20g. He has yet to change the injectors or the fuel pump thats obviously one problem. But my ? is he does not boost at all once he tries to he just spits an sputters an the harder he pushes the gas the more it sputters!!! ive heard so many different ideas its ridiculous. He is running evo 3 manifold, 3 inch exhaust with an injen intake.... but stock intercooler piping an blow off. I was told the fuel cant cause the turbo to sputter like taht, but i was also told its definitly the fuel considering he has stock injectors an pump? anyone have any idea which it is? thanks everyone!!!!

where did he get the turbo from? did you try to do a boost leak test yet?

he buoght the turbo brand new dont remember off what site an no we didnt do the boost leak test!!!

do the leak test. Also make sure the turbo spins freely. You might have gotten ripped off.

he is running only on 9 pounds though so would the boost even effect it?

Interesting issue. You're only running 9 lbs...doesn't sound like a fuel issue to me. I would remove the turbo and look at it. It may not be spinning as freely as it should or hitting the housings. The journal bearings could be bad. Did he get an eBay turbo? I've only heard bad things.
