brake questions

Are these the front brakes? If so does the GST have the upgraded 2 pot calipers? If not why down grade technically to smaller rotors/calipers? I know the rotors are bling bling but in my opinion I'd stick with the GSX brakes and get some nice drilled rotors and ceramic pads and you're golden.

Oh well searched a bit. Way confusing on the aem apparently there was a few different kits released. So it all depends on what is on the GST. There was just rotors or rotors and a caliper relocation bracket or rotors with larger calipers and the calipers being either dual pot or even a quad pot.

I'd look into what you have on the GST if it's the single I'd pass but if a dual or even quad do it why not!

There were 2 different kits. One has the 2 piece rotors that were cross drilled and had 4 piston billet calipers, that I am told are the same ones used as OEM on some Porsches. It came with a radial mount bracket for those calipers. Then there was the lover priced kit that can with 2 piece drilled rotors and a bracket to reuse the factory 2 piston caliper by moving it out a bit.

The latter kit was later taken over by powerslot and marketed as powerslot plus and had 2 piece slotted rotors and the same spacer brackets to move the calipers out. I have those and they have been good, much more stopping power, but the rotors are getting tired and there are no replacements for them.
