bov not so loud anymore?

Since I use a VPC for air metering I vent my Greddy Type-S to the atmosphere. I only have a vacuum line hooked up to the wastegate actuator. One day I noticed that the BOV isn't as loud as it usually is. Nothing catastrophic, but my boost is building as it always has, but the bov just isn't as loud. I tried messing with the adjustment screw a little bit, but I'm not sure where to start. If I should screw it all the way in and then take a certain number of turns counter clockwise?

Any other ideas of why is suddenly became quieter?

Is the vaccuum hose hooked up to the BOV as well?? If your messing with the adjustment screw, be careful not to make it so tight that the BOV won't open fast enough. Its a quick way to kill your turbo.

Have you checked for a boost leak. If there is a leak, then there is not going to be as much air escaping from the BOV.

yea i agree with AWDMIKEY when i had a nice big CRACK in my FMIC my bov barraly made any noise like it used to....after the fix thier was the nice noise again cuz of having way more pressure being built up..so i would boost leak test for sure
