THE LAST THING I DID BEFORE THIS HAPPEND WAS GRIND 3RD BUT I ALSO TOOK OFF MY CAT THAT SAME DAY COULD THAT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT? :thumb: :laser:

I've been saying that my clutch is messed up but I'm actually not sure. I went ahead and bled the fluid and I still have the problem that I had to begin with.

Once I start boosting my cars rpms will fly up all the way to redline but I don't gain speed at all. Another problem that I'm having is I've tried to launch to where I would do a burnout but I just can't loose traction. It will hold in first but the others it just seems like it's slipping.

This started happening right after I did two small things to my car.
I installed a test pipe in place of my cat.
Grinded 3rd reallllly bad.

Do you guys think this would have anything to do with it?

If your RPMs go up and but you don't go anywhere, something is slipping or is disconnected in your driveline. PERIOD. RPMs are proportional to speed when nothing is broken or slipping. Higher RPMs = higher MPH.

The most likely cuplrit is your clutch. It could also POSSIBLY be a broken axle, but VERY unlikely.

Oh, and the more you drive on that slipping clutch, the likelier it'll be that you'll have to replace your flywheel, too, since you're heating it up every time your clutch slips.

If you don't smell burning clutch from it slipping then you need to check for broken drivetrain parts. Just like with the clutch slipping causing flywheel problems, broken axles, output shafts, or transfer cases will cause VCU failure if you continue driving with the problem leading to more expensive repairs.
