So I put on my Greddy UICP and LICP and my greddy type-s bov and now whenever I shift under 4,000 rpms when the air gets dumped into the intake it kind of sounds like the air is getting broken up or somethin its like a fart sorta haha but whenever I shift after 4,000 rpms it sounds great the woosh sounds nice... but under 4k its like wooosh... woosh... wosh kind of dieing down idk its hard to explain but it's weird it almost sounds like its blowing out the intake cone?
 
Sounds like a case of compressor surge. All you have to do is 'soften' the adjustable valve. Not too much though, try a couple of turns in the 'soft' direction until the flutter stops.

Keep in mind, if for some reason you decide to shift at I say, anywhere between 2 and even as high as 3 krpms sometimes, you will hear a slight flutter. However, it def. should not be the case at 4k.

If it's anything like the newer RS(which it should) truning right hardens the valve, turning it left softens it.

I read in a previous thread that you should soften it until you don't hear any "fluttering." even under light boost.
 
Thanks guys' I lightened it up and now it sounds good no flutter at all.. I turned it a very large amount probably almost all the way
