Hey all,
I'm ordering all hard intercooler pipes.
But i have the option of what flange or w/e for different BOVs. Can you advise me on what kind of BOV i should get for my car
96 eclipse gst
I'm guessing 1g BOV
Hoping for the choice to be under 75
If you can list a few kinds and reasons why you would recommend.
Thank you so much!

Not many choices of quality BOVs under $100 unless they are used and you find a deal. Check the classifieds marketplace to see if anyone has something for sale. Greddy Type S is solid and so is the RS once the diaphragm is checks for tears. Otherwise go with the 1g BOV and I'd say go with an uncrushed one for now until you know what your plans are. IIRC the 1g BOV flange can be drilled out with 2 new holes to accept the Greddy BOV if you decide to change to that in the future.

Check out the part outs to see if a BOV comes up from a 1g.

If you're not planning on running BIG boost (i.e. >18psi) I think a 1G BOV (uncrushed) will work just fine. I used to have a crushed 1G BOV but I didn't like how it was making fluttering/farting sounds every time I shift. Added benefit is that the 1G BOV looks stock too.

make sure to read up on all the BOV options. check them out in the classifieds or the vendor sites. if you need help call them. they are all good vendors and all are willing to help. but as for your price range i would stick with the stock 1g bov. they are pretty decent. read up on them all though, in the threads, you will find mass amounts of good information. good luck!
