bov and wastegate

now you dont have to be like ahh not another BOV vs wastegate idiot. i know what both do i just want to know if someone can show me a picture of each so i can tell the difference between them, ive been googling it but basically the same images come up.

at 6 seconds is that a BOV or wastegate?? and what pipe is it attached too, sorry im a real noob

6 seconds is a BOV, and its attached to the upper intercooler pipe.

The silver thing on your upper intercooler pipe to the throttle body is the blow off valve and the wastegate is either internal on the turbo or external on the manifold or under turbo on o2 housing. Hope this helps

BOV = cold side

wastegate (WG) = hot side.
