bought a maft and gm mas buuuuut???

Picking these up for a good price..but its also coming with and wired for a gm 3bar map sensor...I was unaware that I could run it with the mas and maft. What role does the 3bar map play with the maft and mas?

Do I need to run it?

They are used independently on a DSM. You don't need a map sensor unless you want to log boost or are running speed density.
