what is that bore and stroke of my 1992 jdm 4g63t motor
i wish to bore it out .40 over

It will raise the cylinder volume by 0.012 liters per cylinder. So your final engine displacement would be increased by 0.048 liters.

Others have said that this doesn't buy you much, and it is usually only done when the cylinder walls are worn.

will be 2045 cc

Here is the formula

.020=.5mm
.040=1mm
.060=1.5mm

It doesn't sound much but the reason why you bore out because the normal wear out take away some metal. so if you want the pistons (most likely is new pistons) to seat properly you need to bore the block a little bigger so the new (bigger piston .020,.040, or .060) will sit in place really good.

If you want to make a difference you need to change the stroke. and more likely is to change the Crank(2.4L 4g64) and it will be a 2.3L motor or get a 2.4L Block...... That will create madness Torque but won't like to rev higher.

I hope all that Help you.

It really doesn't buy you anything other than a block you can't ever refresh. The only time you want to bore the block on a 4G63 is when the walls need it. You can get a lot more HP from turning the screw on the MBC than you'll get hogging the block out. If you want displacement build a stroker or a 2.4L.
