Ok i plan on doing a stroker motor and i noticed most of those who have done it have bored .20 over. My question. Is there something wrong with doing .040 over? Will it create too much heat? Also this will be a street driven car just so you know.

Boring a motor is to clean up the cylinder walls. Do a .20 over bore and build your motor. This way if anything happens you will be able to reuse the same block and go with a .40 over setup.
