Boosting Question

I have a 95 Eclipse GST with the following mods:

Aftermarket:

- Turbonetics Manifold w/ externally gated wastegate (turbosmart 35mm)
- GReddy FMIC
- APEXi N1 catback
- APEXi venting BOV(I know the consequences, will be replacing with HKS SSQV or another alternative)
- Garett T3/T4 turbo(I don't know the exact specs of it)
- Turbosmart manual boost controller
- Autometer boost gauge
- stock clutch
- stock fuel pump
- 440cc injectors

I was reading the Stage 1 and Stage 2 tech articles and I stumbled upon this:

Fuel Pump
The stock fuel pump will not be able to supply the needed fuel for anything over 16psi of boost. Though you won't need to go past that in this stage, it's still cheap insurance to put in at least a 190Lph fuel pump to ensure you have enough fuel in case you want to raise the boost with race gas in the tank. It's also a good idea to re-wire the fuel pump for consistent fuel pressure.

Right now I am running 11psi to be safe, but if the stock fuel pump maxes out at 16psi, can I take it up to 16 safely?

Just because of the nature of DSMs (if it can go wrong, it will), I wouldn't push it to 16. If you ahave the money, just get a new pump. I'd say you can hit 13... 14 without worrying. Just my .02

Alright I'll try it in increments when I bring the car back out in the spring and see what happens
