Ok, I've got a 96 Eclipse GST. It's running a S16G, evo 8 560cc injectors, Walbro 255, Fuel lab FPR, GReddy 3" catback, GReddy hard upper and lower SMIC piping and a GReddy type S bov. My question is, while I know its not recommended to raise base fuel pressure to make your injectors flow more than what they are rated for, but in the event I was going to "TRY" it, how much of a change in fuel pressure would be to much? I know how much it would take to get to there id like, I just don't know if the injectors can handle it either. Base FP is 43.5 PSI, and I need 53.5 psi to effectively gain another 40cc from them. anyone think a 10psi gain in base fuel pressure would hurt? BTW im using link to tune.

Depends on how much max boost you are running and the size of your fuel pump. The higher the base pressure, the higher your max pressure will be and fuel pumps lose flow as the pressure increases. You're better off with getting larger injectors.

Pump flow needs to be taken into consideration as well not so much here. But in some cases you could be seriously limiting your self going higher... Plus the Walbro pumps have reliefs that will bleed of pressure as you go higher. Might not apply so much here just a FYI

As well Not all injectors perform the same at different pressures. Just check out some Injector testing videos on Youtube and you can see how different styles of injectors will react at different pressures not everything plays nice. Base pressure will affect your atomization of the fuel at Idle as well
