boost problem, power steering belt help!

hey i posted about my boost problem b4 after the battery install and i was wondering if this could have happened.

could the person or people b4 me have bought a boost controller and set the boost up higher and then took it off to sell. then when i replaced my battery it reset back to stock, just a thought.

also i am changing my belts the power steering and the alternator belt due to squelling. so i was wondering how i can get the alternator belt off. i can get the power steering one loose but cannot get it off due to the alternator belt. i tried to losen the alternator but i dunno where the other bolt is to get it loose and rotate it. lmk where it is guys.

btw i knew nothing about dsm's let alone cars in general. hooked up on here and now i have learned so much. i just changed my valve cover gasket today with the fiance ( i know its amazing) and i feel i can do anything with the help of this site so thanks for all who are on here helping a fellow dsmer out. ps the search tool is amazing.

there are 3 main bolts to loosen to get your alt belt off.. 2 are right in front and the bottom alt bolt will allow you to move your alt out of the way to get the belt off.. also there should be no change in boost after a new batt. install... go out and buy yourself a boost controller and read the install instructions... that should cure your problems.....
