oh yea cant forget a fmic need one of them too
engine has 4k on it new alt,battery,o2,knock

off the top of my head:talon: :laser: :dsm:

But the prob im having is that i cant seem to get passed 3-5psi. I have done a boost leak test and it came back good. I have let the wastegate boost freely. I have changed the wastegate. Checked everything i could think of.. And still got my nice 3-5psi feels like i be driving a civic here with that low of boost.
Prob just started around 4k.. and the car as been boosting 15psi fine everyday before this prob.

Any ideas would be helpful.

15 psi seems ok for stock fuel, does the turbo sound any different ? Are you sure you did spring a boost leak...I though I was all in the clear for boost leaks and decided to make the soapy water mixture...first place I sprayed it on bubbled like no tomorrow...Now my car is about 98% boostleak free and holds presure for about 3 minutes. Do a test and inspect the turbo...also maybe an exhaust leak before the turbo.

Do that stuff first.

sorry i forgot to put that stuff in there too but exhaust has been checked good all beside my flex in my down pipe but thats been there before and after the rebuild. Checked turbo very little play. Didnt do soapy water yet but i will.. But im going to say im like 80% it doesnt have any boost leaks.

Well we found one boost leak around the bov and we patched that all up and tested it again it holded the boost for id say prob 2min or so.

How much boost for 2 minutes? I'm talking about your boost gauge reading after you remove the compressed air source.

It was at 0 after it was removed..
Let me re-phraise it,
1. While the pump was still on the tester, what was the psi reading on the boost gauge?

2. After you release the pump from the tester, how long did it take for it to bleed down to zero?

oh at 13psi holded for about little over 2min
13psi means you still have more leaks to be fixed but it also means it's probably not the source of your "not able to boost past 3-5psi" problem. If you have already check the actuator, exhaust leaks, with decent but not perfect leak test results, the only two things left would be compression and the turbo itself. Perform a compression test, if test results are normal, there really isn't anything else left besides the turbo.

UPDATE.. Man i dont know what the hell esle it could be i just did all of the other stuff oldman said i even took a working 14b off and put it on my car still the same thing.. Any ideas guys before i park and leave it and even look at it again... :barf: :notgood:

Could 13 psi on the boost leak test possibly not be enough to show some other boost leaks? That's about the only thing I can think of. Push it up to 20 psi or so, and see how long it holds that.

Here is some data log reading

idle
RPM-950
Timing-12 to 14
Injector Pluse-2.0
02 volts-0.02
tps-10.58
air flow-6.0
knock-0.0
low trim-0.0
med tirm-0.0

Then at 2k
RPM-2000
Timing-37.0
Injector Pluse-1.0
02 volts-0.82
tps-14.50
air flow-12.0
knock-0.0
low trim-0.0
med tirm-0.0

Redo the boostleak test but pump it up to 20psi and check for leaks with the soapy water. since you changed the turbo and I am assuming you used the wastegate actulator from the 14b then all that side is good. Check your manifold underneath for cracks and all your vacum lines. I had the same problem and found a faulty wastegate actulator and a hole in a vacum line. Good luck
