ok i gave my car its 7th boost leak test and found some mayor boost leaks, when i went to start my car it started smoking like a smoke machine..... BLUE SMOKE MEANING ITS OIL... now i thought the turbo went so i replaced it.... with a new one.. and now it still smokes...... im lost here i gave it a compression test and it had 185 across... im gonna give it a leak down test tomorrow hopefully but im lost here... HELP..!!!! WHEN ITS COLD IT DOESNT SMOKE BUT WHEN IT WARMS UP IT SMOKES BIG TIME WHEN YOU GAS IT....

how exactly did you perform the test? did you presurized the motor at all? might be that you forced air/oil in trough the valve seals maybe damaging them?
Just my 2 cents here

I didnt even get to 15psi...... So thats out of the way.....

Is there oil in the charge pipes after the turbo? pull the plug's You may have bad plug seals on the valve cover. Maybe even a bad PCV make sure thats working and not stuck by making sure the check valve works properly. Does your dip stick pop out the tube? if so it's your PCV and the extra pressure is making the seals puke oil.

What was your old turbo? I'm in need of something like a big 16g evo 3. something thise td04 is the gayness.

I'm gonna guess and say your old turbo may still be good.

yea cause there is no oil on any of the pipes or j pipe..... but when i did the boost leak test there was air comming out of the valve cover hose that goes to the intake?

ok update.... i gave my car a leak down test and it shows that in every cylinder the intake valve stems are trash..... but one cylinder was leaking through the crankcase..... meaning it was the rings..... now when i do the leak down test the gauge that says the percentage of air leaking doesnt really move unless i lower the compressed air going in.... so how am i supposed to see how fast it leaks.....?? ive searched and read alot of threads... but id like more numbers to be involved and how exactly im supposed to know how much is leaking...

ok looks like my valve stems are done... so i decided to rebuild the head.... does anyone know were i could find a decent kit... including valve guides, valve stems, and valves...... THANKS IN ADVANCE

There is a place that has a pretty good reputation around the dsm community for timing belt job parts and oem quality rebuild parts that are affordable check em out. I love cruising the site for parts i dont even need, i get lost for a few hours browsing and the prices are great :thumb: Mitsubishi Engine Rebuild Parts
