Hey guys. Today I was fooling around with a boost leak tester I made, and I noticed I was getting massive boost leak from a sort of nipple on my Lower intercooler piping coupler.

I have no idea why this nipple is there, or why it is not plugged. I just bought the car maybe 3 weeks ago. I have a picture of it, I circled and pointed to what I'm talking about. Is this thing supposed to be there?

Thanks for any help!

Is the vacuum line to your stock bcs hooked up? That may have been put there as a boost reading source.

I'm sorry, but what is a BCS?

I'm still very new to these cars.

Thanks!

EDIT: Ok I looked it up. And I'm not sure if the vacuum line to the stock bcs is still hooked up. I haven't done anything to the car since I bought it, so I'm chasing down a lot of things the previous owner did

To be honest, that looks like a pipe inbetween two couplers. Buying a different coupler isn't going to change the fact that nipple is there. I say cap the nipple off, or get a new pipe to inbetween the two couplers.

The pipe is what I meant. Shouldn't have called it a coupler. But yeah, that's what I'll be swapping out. Thanks for all the help guys!
