Lethbridge,
Leak test my Talon and found that i can hold 20Psi for well over 40secs from the TB elbow, but I can't even get to 20Psi at the turbo inlet. Also alarming amount of air flow in the crankcase but none when testing at TB elbow, Thank god!.... My question is: Is my turbo shot? no shaft play, and is there a way to fix the seals that won't cost more then a good working 14b/small 16g?

Cheers,

SL

dont say "cheers," for that is GTM's thing ;) jk

Are you testing the Intercooler, turbo, IC pipes up to the TB? and cant hold pressure?

there are numerous couplings, the bov, ect ect in that route. could be anything.

the throttle plate isnt a 100% seal

Tested at the innercooler inlet and TB elbow both hold boost but my BOV does leak. I can hold 20psi for more then 40 seconds at the TB elbow, and get no crank case pressure. Once i pressurize from the turbo inlet i get massive crank case pressure. But i have no oil burning, and theres no oil in any of the piping. Which says that the seals are fine. So where is the air coming from? Again no crank case pressure when testing at TB elbow but lots when testing at turbo inlet.

Cheers,:D
