Boost gauge stays on "0" for a few minutes.

okay, heres the problem, I have a autometer phantom manual boost gauge that reads from -30-0- +30 psi......when i start up my car, the boost gauge stays on "0" for a few minutes, even after the car is warmed up. Once i drive for about 2 miles, the boost gauge starts reading again and works great after that. This problem just started about 3 days ago, had never happened b4.....

By the way, i also have a Greddy Electronic boost gauge and it does the same exact thing on that gauge as well.

could it be a bad fuel pressure regulator? or bad fuel pressure solenoid?

as a matter of fact, i think the autometer phantom boost gauge wire might be kinked somewhere behind the cd player.......

But why would this happen even when the wire wasn't kinked?

i just relocated the phantom boost gauge in the air vents above the cd player yesterday and this problem has been happening for a total of 4 dayz now, and it also does this on my ELECTRONIC Greddy boost gauge?

Check the pressure tubing all the way from the intake manifold to the back of the gauge. MAke sure it's not kinked at all. Also, check the T-Fitting at you intake manifold to make sure that it's secure.
